Retreivabase runs on a solid, production ready stack that keeps document ingestion, retrieval, and the chat interface cleanly separated. The frontend is a modern React and Next.js app, styled with Tailwind CSS and built in TypeScript, while Firebase or Supabase handle authentication, including OTP, along with storage and the main database. LangChain or LlamaIndex handle retrieval augmented generation on top of vector embeddings and the OpenAI API, and Stripe powers the tiered billing and subscriptions. The result is a workspace that feels fast, stays in sync with the underlying documents, and gives teams answers they can actually verify.
